Country-driven Capacity Building

The capacity to finance and conduct research in global health and design innovative solutions is largely confined to high-income countries. Sessions under this theme focus on accelerating the impact of the underutilized creativity and innovation capacity of low- and middle-income countries. Emerging economies hold tremendous potential to contribute to global health research—how can partnerships, decentralized manufacturing, global financing, and improved training help to realize this potential?
